On Friday 16th December our afternoon classes celebrated their term in style. We had hula dancers, father Christmases, lions on a hunt, reindeer and our grade students displayed their wonderful choral talents under the direction of Teachers Hannah and Adrian. ....more

On Tuesday 25 th October and Wednesday 26 th October Students form ZISPP Grade1, Grade 3 and K5 took a day trip to see Amarak Organic Farm. The students had a great day exploring local vegetation, discussing lifecycles and plant systems as well as enjoying time with each other and their teachers in this beautiful outdoor setting....more

Our first Unit in K4 was Family and friends. The class learnt about animals, identified pets and how to take care of them. Through play, we learnt how to feed, excercise, wash and care for our animals. We let them eat and hide in the grass (playdough, cardboard cutouts and string) excercise on the land (brown rice - listening to the sounds and feeling the texture) swim in the glitter water and used soapy water and sponges, cleaning our pets whilst practice filling and pouring....more

Today we looked at how big we were by having Teacher Glaiza draw around us. Then we got ready to paint by wearing raincoats. We used spray bottles filled with water and different colors to paint our outlines. Working on a vertical surface is great for toddlers because it encourages exercise of the Gross Motor muscles and helps to strengthen shoulder/elbow stability as well as encouraging bilateral coordination....more
