Computer Lab
Our Computer Lab is a new IT Learning Lab which enables us to build on the strengths of traditional classroom based learning by taking advantage of cutting edge educational applications such as Waterford Early Learning, Mathletics and Infini-D Learning’s spaceship simulator.

Reading Enrichment (Library)
Reading and exploring literature is one tool we can use to enhance second language skills and to foster a love of learning. At ZISPP we have moved from the centralized library concept to regularly updating our in-class book selection. All classes have a dedicated reading area and students are able to explore reading, reading behaviours and shared learning at their own pace, Teachers use the classroom library to enhance understanding of themes being studied, to foster reading and book care behaviours as well as to encourage the children to explore their imagination and knowledge.

Cooking Studio
Cooking can help young children learn and practice some basic math concepts and build language skills. The experience of creating meals can help build their self-confidence and lay the foundation for healthy eating habits.
As part of our health and nutrition focus at ZISPP we use the cooking studio across all year levels to explore healthy eating, to introduce new themed units, to enhance and deepen understandings and to introduce students to the world of cooking.
Children are notoriously picky eaters, and bringing them into the studio to cook can help get them to open up to new tastes. We encourage our students to taste new ingredients and talk about what they like and how healthy foods make a body grow. Children learn by exploring with their senses and the studio is an ideal place to do that. Preschoolers love to show what they can do and working in the studio provides opportunities to gain a sense of accomplishment.
