At ZISPP we take pride in being leaders in STEM learning. In addition to our comprehensive science curriculum we have added additional specialist science lessons to allow for even more hands-on experiments!
This week our Grade 2 students learned that electricity comes from power stations! Our learners researched maps and photographs of Cambodian coal power stations in Sihanoukville and a hydro power station in Stung Treng.
Students enjoyed watching simple demonstrations of how fast moving water turns turbines to generate electricity in hydro power stations. Our learners then made drawings showing the turbine and generator in action to demonstrate their understanding.
